At Lorvelife, every handmade ceramic piece is carefully inspected, wrapped and securely packaged before leaving our studio.
Below you'll find information about order processing, made-to-order pieces, custom orders, delivery times and shipping costs.
Order Processing Time
The estimated time before your order arrives includes order processing or crafting time + shipping time.
In-Stock Items
Items that are currently in stock are usually processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Made-to-Order Items
Some of our hand-painted pieces, particularly those from The Artist Collection, are handcrafted in small batches.
If a design is marked Made to Order, please allow approximately 7–15 days for crafting before dispatch.
Each piece is individually crafted and hand-painted rather than mass-produced, so this extra time allows our makers to complete your piece with care.
The estimated crafting time will also be shown on the individual product page where applicable.
Custom & Personalised Orders
Custom pieces require a little more time, as they are created specifically around your individual requirements.
From discussing your ideas and confirming the design to handcrafting and completing the final piece, the process may take approximately 3–4 weeks before dispatch.
We kindly ask you to allow as much time as possible when placing a custom order. This gives us enough time to communicate with you, carefully work through the details, and create a piece that meets your expectations rather than rushing the process.
If your custom piece is intended for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, Christmas or another special occasion, we recommend ordering well in advance and letting us know your preferred date when discussing your requirements.
Please note that shipping time is additional and begins once your custom order has been completed and dispatched.
Orders with Different Processing Times
If your order contains a combination of in-stock, made-to-order or custom pieces, your order will normally be dispatched together once all items are ready.
If you need an in-stock item sooner, please contact us before placing your order and we'll be happy to advise on the available options.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination, parcel weight and the number of items in your order.
Your final shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before payment.
Where free shipping is available, the applicable offer and requirements will be shown on our website and at checkout.

Handmade Ceramic Notice
Every Lorvelife piece is individually handcrafted or hand-painted, and small variations are a natural part of the making process.
Slight differences in shape, dimensions, weight, brushwork, colour tones, glaze effects and surface texture may occur from piece to piece.
Handmade rims and shapes may also not be perfectly uniform or symmetrical. These characteristics are part of the individuality of handmade ceramics and are not considered defects.
Product dimensions and weights are measured by hand and are provided as a guide. Slight variations may occur between individual pieces.
Carefully Packed for Delivery
Ceramics are fragile by nature, so every order is carefully packed with protective materials to help reduce the risk of damage during transit.
Where multiple pieces are ordered together, we will arrange the packaging based on the size, weight and shape of the items to provide appropriate protection during delivery.
Damaged During Delivery?
Although we take great care when packing your order, we understand that ceramics can occasionally be damaged during transit.
If your order arrives damaged, be sure to get in touch with us as soon as possible and provide:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the outer packaging and shipping label
Once we've reviewed the information, we'll help arrange an appropriate replacement or refund in accordance with our policy.
Please keep the original packaging until your request has been reviewed.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.
Tracking updates may take a short time to appear after your parcel has been handed over to the carrier.
